OVERVIEW TOUR

Tarif includes:

  • Return plane tickets, Economy class. Cabin luggage 7kg, check-in luggage 23kg;
  • Assistance during the entire period of the journey;
  • 8 nights of accommodation with half-board (buffet), in Bethlehem at a 4-star hotel, place in double room;
  • Free access to the touristic sights in the program;
  • Taxi ride to Sava and Tabor;
  • Modern coach with air conditioning, according to the program throughout the circuit trip in Israel;
  • Priest / theologian guide;

Tarif does not include:

  • Beverages during meals except (water, juice, tea, coffee)
  • Possible optional program, beside the program presented;
  • Other personal expenditure;
  • Supplement for single room $500/room
  • Travel and medical insurance

 Note:

  • Passport valid at least 6 months after the end of the trip;
  • In case of refusal of the authorities at the frontier checkpoints to let the tourist enter the territory of the respective state, or refusal to allow the tourist to leave the territory of a state, the agency does not assume any responsibility;
  • The air company may change the flight timetable and the airport / fuel fee, changes that shall be notified to you;
  • Deterioration or loss of luggage is imputable to the air company;
  • The category of hotels and means of transportation is compliant with the local norms. The program per days may change observing in totality the aforementioned visits.

Booking and payment terms:

  • The annulment penalties are in the amount of 1000$ if the booking is annulled 6 months prior to departure
  • The payment may be made in cash, by cheque, 3,5% commission at the credit card payment
  • The tariffs are based on a number of minimum 35 paying persons. If the number of participants is less than 35, the cost of the trip is the following: for a number of persons ranging between 25 and 34 one shall apply a supplement of 150$/pers.

ITINERARY

Meeting with the tourism agency representative at the O'Hare airport Chicago/USA, departure to Queen Alia airport Amman/Jordan. Dinner and breakfast w ill be served aboard.
Arrival at Queen Alia airport Amman/Jordan, after customs formalities transfer with modern coach and check-in at the 4-star hotel in Amman. Free program for accommodation. Dinner.
After breakfast, Visit the ancient city of Jerash-Gergasa which formed part of the
Roman province of Syria following General Pompey’s conquest of the region in 64
BC. It later became one of the ten cities of the Decapolis league, flourishing and
growing wealthier over two centuries of Roman rule. Ancient Philadelphia -Amman
City tour; (Under Ptolemy II Philadelphos (285-247 B.C.), Amman was rebuilt and
renamed Philadelphia. In 63 B.C., Philadelphia became part of the Decapolis set up
by Pompey. It is likely that David’s men concentrated their campaign against the
city at this point, and perhaps it was here that Uriah was killed at David’s order in 2
Sam 11:16-17). Dinner and overnight in Amman.
After breakfast, drive to Mount Nebo and wonder at the view where Moses looked across to the promised Land and later died and was buried. Explore the town of Madaba and discover the amazing Byzantine mosaics excavated from throughout the town. See the ‘Madaba Map’, the oldest preserved mosaic map of the Holy Lands.Continue south to the ancient crusader castle in Shobak, exploring the maze of stone-vaulted halls and passageways. The castle provides an impressive insight into the architectural and military skills of the Crusaders. Overnight in Petra.
After breakfast, marvel at the beauty of the ‘Lost City’, the Red Rose City of Petra, exploring its many caves and tombs. Walk through the canyon and be astounded at the magnificent Treasury, the entrance guarding the ancient Nabatians city, now one of the Modern 7 Wonders of the World. After tour ends, transfer to your hotel at Dead Sea. After a busy trip, spend the day floating and relaxing at the Dead Sea at one of the resort hotels. Enjoy the sunshine at the lowest point on earth, whilst trying out the invigorating mud bath to cleanse the skin. Watch the sunset over the hills of the West Bank with Jerusalem in the distance
Overnight at Dead Sea.
Breakfast. Departure to Allenby where we cross the border in Israel. After we visit Hoseva and visit the Monastery of St. George the Hosevite, with the relics of St. Jacob the Romanian from Neamt. We shall make a brief halt at the cosmetics shop in Qumran (the of Centre of the Essenians) at the Dead Sea shore where, time permitting, we shall bathe and take a mud cure. Halt for a symbolic baptism in the Jordan River. We visit the Monastery of St. Gherasim on the Jordan. Panoramic view over the Carantania Monastery in the Carantania desert (the place where Our Savior Jesus Christ was tempted by the devil). Travel to the city of JERICHO
– the oldest city in the world, prayer at the church of the Monastery “Zacchaeus’s Mulberry” and the Romanian church at Jericho. Dinner and accommodation in the 4-star hotel in Bethlehem.
Breakfast. BETHLEHEM – Visit to the Orthodox Church of the Birth of Our Savior Jesus Christ, the cave where Jesus was birth. Visit to the St. Catherine catholic church, the Milk Grotto, The Field of Shepherds. Then we set of to the Monastery of St. Theodosius, we continue our journey in the desert by minibus to the Monastery of St. Sava. Visit to Mount Zion at the church of the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God, the pavilion - the Last Supper, the Tomb of King David. Dinner and accommodation in the 4-star hotel in Bethlehem.
Breakfast. In Jerusalem we shall walk the Cross Road with 14 halts. Arriving in the Holy Citadel, we visit the Church of the Holy Resurrection with Golgotha, the Stone of Anointment, the Holy Tomb, the place where the Holy Cross stood. Time available for prayer. After we visiting the Wailing Wall Dinner and accommodation in the 4-star hotel in Bethlehem.
Breakfast. We start our pilgrimage by climbing Mount Scopus (the mountain of the Ascension of Our Lord Jesus to Heaven). We visit the Russian Monastery of Eleon, the Mount of Olives, the church Dominus Flevit (Our Lord Wept), the Gethsemane Gardens with the Church of nations, the Church of the Tomb of the Holy Mother of God. Dinner and accommodation in the 4-star hotel in Bethlehem.
After breakfast departure to the Ben Gurion airport Tel Aviv/Israel, arrival at the O’Hare airport Chicago/USA.
